THE SOCIETY OF WILLIAM WALLACE COIN

Our 1st coin in a series of 10, featuring the SOWW logo on the front with the words that Wallace was taught by his uncle, the priest of Dunipace, on the reverse:

Freedom is best, I tell thee true, of all things to be won. Then never live within the bonds of slavery, my Son.

 THE De MORAY COIN

This is the 2nd is our series of coins depicting Scotland's favourite Sons and features Sir Andrew de Moray who fought alongside Wallace at the Battle of Stirling Brig.  Whilst the battle was a resounding success for the Scots, De Moray was fatally injured and died a few months later as a result of the wounds he sustained that day.

  THE BRUCE COIN

The 3rd in our series of coins celebrates the greatest King who ever lived, Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, to mark the 700th anniversary of his glorious victory in 1314 at Bannockburn.

 THE DOUGLAS COIN

Our 4th coin is dedicated to Scotland's fiercest warrior - Sir James Douglas. As a loyal friend and ally of Robert the Bruce, he played an integral role in reinstating Scotland as an Independent Nation.  He was greatly feared south of the border where he was known as the 'Black Douglas' thanks to his ferocious and utterly ruthless attacks on his enemies.
